2025 Land Cruiser first official teaser! Silhouette previewed vs FJ40 Ancestor

Toyota has just posted the first official physical teaser of the 2025 Land Cruiser! The teaser image features the silhouette of the new Land Cruiser vs the legendary FJ40.

Like the Lexus GX (which recently debuted and with which the 2025 Land Cruiser will share a platform), the new Land Cruiser features a upkicked beltline, tall stance and relatively short wheelbase. Unlike the GX, the Land Cruiser gets a separate front bumper and no roof spoiler. Of course, we'll be able to tell much more similarities and differences once we get a non-shadowy look.

Was really hoping for a more bare bones FJ/ solid axle type of rig but I knew that was dreaming lol.

Don’t think Toyota will ever bring back a hardcore wrangler competitor. A 70 series would have been sweet or an 80 series style.
